**KERSTON FOODS TERMS & CONDITIONS**

**Online Registration:**
To place your first online order with Kerston Foods, you must complete the registration process on our website at www.kerstonfoods.com. By registering and using our online shopping services, you agree to abide by the General Terms and Conditions of our Services.

During registration, you will need to provide personal information, along with an email address and password. Please ensure the security of your personal information, as we are not liable for any unauthorized use of your data. Each visit to our online platform at www.kerstonfoods.com will require you to enter your email address and password.

**Product Sales and Availability:**
All products showcased on our website and mobile apps are subject to availability and will be delivered exclusively within the Republic of South Africa, in areas where our delivery service operates. Prices displayed on our website and mobile site are quoted in South African Rands and are valid only within the Republic of South Africa. We retain the right to modify or discontinue our product and service specifications without prior notice. In the event that any products or services you ordered are unavailable, we will notify you promptly.

**Minimum Order Requirement:**
For deliveries, a minimum order value of R1000.00 must be placed before scheduling the delivery.

**Pricing:**
The prices listed on our website represent the final cost you will pay as displayed on our online ordering system, subject to availability.  All items on the Webstore prices for deliveries (Cash Online) include VAT, while items on the Webstore for Food Service Customers exclude VAT. Special promotions may have specific conditions, including stock availability and limited-time offers.

**Stock Availability:**
We cannot guarantee stock availability at all times. In cases where items are unavailable, we may substitute them with your consent, or place these items on back order for you.

**Random weighted items.**

**Order Confirmation:**
Your order is considered accepted when you receive an order confirmation. You will also receive a detailed tax invoice via email, displaying the purchased products, Value-Added Tax. Upon delivery, you will be requested check your invoice with our driver and sign the invoice to acknowledge receipt of the order.


**Returns & Refunds:**
Here’s a summary of our return policy:

  1. Check your delivery immediately: Please check the products against your invoice when you receive them. Any discrepancies can’t be rectified once the delivery driver has left.
  2. RFC SLIP requirement: Our drivers carry an RFC BOOK, and any return consideration requires an RFC SLIP, which the driver will provide if a return is necessary.
  3. Original packaging: Items must be in their original, sealed packaging to be accepted as returns for credit.
  4. Return periods: Dry goods can be returned within 7 days of delivery, while perishables can be returned within 48 hours of delivery.
  5. Handling fee: We reserve the right to charge a handling fee of 10%.
  6. Credit note processing: Credit notes are processed on the day following the RFC SLIP’s date. The credit note will be emailed to you.

If you notice a mistake in your order after delivery, please fill out the appropriate form online. Whether it’s an incorrect product, incorrect quantity, or a quality issue, our Food Safety Team will respond within 48 hours. They may ask you to provide photographs of the products you wish to return. Once approved, they will arrange for collection of the stock and notify you of the date. The credit will then be processed within 24 hours after collection.

**Risk and Ownership:**
Risk passes to you or your authorized representative upon delivery, while ownership of the products remains with Kerston Foods until full payment is received.

These Payment Terms and Conditions are applicable to all transactions involving Kerston Foods:

1. **Goods and Services Description**: Kerston Foods is a business in the Foodservice industry that delivers Grocery Items to both businesses.

2. **Delivery Policy**: Requests will be processed and confirmed at each stage of the process, via an email notification.

3. **Export Restrictions**: Our offerings are exclusively available to South African clients.

4. **Return and Refund Policy**:  See the section on returns and refunds above.

5. **Customer Privacy Policy**: Kerston Foods is committed to protecting user's personal information in accordance with applicable laws.

10. **Responsibility**: Kerston Foods takes responsibility for all aspects of the transaction, including product sale, customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery.

11. **Country of Domicile**: This website operates under South African laws, with its domicilium citandi et executandi in South Africa.

12. **Variation**: Kerston Foods reserves the right to modify this agreement or any part thereof without prior notice.
